The Role
You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Acquiring and managing relationships with corporate and institutional clients in your area of focus to achieve business targets and business objectives.
  • The Business Development Officer with Bid and Tendering expertise is responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing the end-to-end bidding process, and driving revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare competitive bids, developing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements to maximize win rates.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, and conduct client meetings to understand needs and requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients to showcase the company’s offerings and capabilities.
  • Track and analyze industry trends to identify areas for growth and potential risks.
  • Developing strong internal relationships to optimise service delivery and ensure all practices are in line with internal guidelines and statutory requirements.

Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 3 years of experience including solid experience in a similar role within Utilities.
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
