Job Summary
- The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing CIG Motors’ day-to-day operational functions, ensuring seamless integration of strategic business initiatives with operational execution.
- The COO will work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to drive efficiencies, optimize resources, and establish robust systems and processes.
- This position demands a proactive leader with deep knowledge of operational management and strategic planning to ensure CIG Motors consistently meets its commercial, financial, and operational goals.
- The COO will also focus on fostering a high performance culture and delivering exceptional value to customers and partners
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the CIG operations, including production, logistics, customer service, and aftersales.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed to meet operational goals.
- Advise the R&D team in conducting market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Lead and manage a team of managers responsible for various operational fuOversee the company’s financial performance and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Develop and implement budgets and financial plans for the overall operations
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in a senior operational role, ideally within the automotive, manufacturing, or commercial sectors.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Strong experience in process optimization, cost management, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, project management tools, and data analysis software.
- Ability to lead within a dynamic, fast-paced commercial environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.
