Junior Retail Buyer
Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and selecting products that align with market demand and company goals.
- Conduct preliminary market research to analyze consumer trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams to track product performance and make recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and budget constraints.
- Assist in preparing reports on purchasing trends, supplier performance, and cost analyses.
- Support negotiations with suppliers on pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and support the replenishment process to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a smooth procurement process.
- Stay informed about new products and market developments through industry research.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, retail buying, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of retail market trends and consumer behavior.
- Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems.
Salary
N150,000 – N180,000 monthly.
