Maintenance Supervisor
Job Locations: Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Plateau
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and policies.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on maintenance needs and priorities.
- Report to management about maintenance issues and propose solutions for improvements.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting needs and controlling costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or High National Diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
