Job Description

• On behalf of our client, we are seeking a qualified and dedicated Primary School Teacher with expertise in Mathematics and Basic Science.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons that engage young learners and foster a strong understanding of these subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and Basic Science to primary school students.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school management about student progress.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to school community events.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and exams.
• Foster a positive and conducive learning environment in the classroom.
• Uphold school policies and maintain discipline within the classroom.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field (Mathematics, Science, etc.).
• Previous experience teaching in a primary school is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual student needs.
• Knowledge of the Nigerian primary school curriculum.
• Must reside in or near Apo, Abuja.
