Senior Retail Buyer
Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement buying strategies to optimize product selection and drive sales performance.
- Conduct thorough market research to analyze consumer trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable product sourcing.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to align procurement decisions with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Retail Buyer or in a similar procurement role within the retail industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Deep knowledge of retail market trends, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior.
- Experience working with international suppliers and global sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.
