Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description
Talent Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals for various roles, including farm workers, supervisors, agronomists, and administrative staff.
- Utilize job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to source qualified candidates.
- Build a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future talent needs.
Screening and Interviewing:
- Review applications and resumes to identify the best candidates for each role.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and participate in interview panels with hiring managers.
Employer Branding:
- Promote Agbeyewa Farms as an employer of choice by showcasing our mission, culture, and career opportunities.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and community outreach programs.
Candidate Experience Management:
- Ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide timely updates on their application status.
Onboarding and Integration:
- Work closely with HR to facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires.
- Ensure new employees are set up for success by providing necessary resources and orientation.
Workforce Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with department heads to understand talent needs and develop workforce plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends and labor market dynamics to refine recruitment strategies.
Data and Reporting:
- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports to management on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in recruitment or talent acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in agriculture or a related industry.
- Proven track record of successfully filling diverse roles, including technical and field positions
- Strong sourcing and networking skills to identify and engage top talent.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for agriculture and a commitment to fostering talent in the industry
