Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and monitoring accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Process and reconcile customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely collections.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries.
- Prepare accounts receivable reports and provide regular updates to supervisor.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and resolve disputes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 – 7 years of proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in the use of Quick Books and MicrosoftExcel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
