Job Summary

  • As the Business Manager, you get to act as one of our Retail Store Managers
  • You will be responsible for overseeing employees and finances, and also controlling the quality of products and services offered to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve the store’s monthly/annual sales target.
  • Achieve margin for high-grossing products.
  • Administration of Store, 3rd party businesses, etc.
  • Ensure the ambience of the store is very lively and conducive, good music, clean, engaging, orderly, etc.
  • Ensure zero stock out, right ordering, varieties, good inventory management-First In-First Out, etc.
  • Ensure customer complaints are reduced to the barest minimum.
  • Achieve the VD targets for brands and products.
  • Oversee the store’s operational costs such as Diesel, Power, Overheads, Production, etc.
  • Ensure preventable loss is minimal, and losses are accounted for accurately.
  • Ensure reports are timely & accurate.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or a related field from a recognized University.
  • Female Preferably for gender balance
  • 3+ years experience as a store manager or any supervisory role.
  • Proven experience with preparing budgets, and financial and expense reports.
  • Knowledge of product and consumer trends, marketing strategies, and how to utilize them.
  • Strong supervisory, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Must be motivated, organized, and determined.
  • Punctuality & and attendance, Demonstrate improvement efforts.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Must be analytical and comfortable reviewing data.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Must be results-driven, commercially aware, and have problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks, work with a plan, and work in a fast-paced environment.
