Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development and Partnership Officer to drive growth and expansion in Umuahia.
• The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and effectively drive sales and insurance in Abia state.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, revenue generation, and profitability in Umuahia.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, optimizing processes and resources to ensure efficient business performance.
• Identify opportunities for market expansion and penetration in Umuahia and neighboring regions.
• Develop proposals and presentations for clients.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the local community to enhance brand presence and impact.
• Direct sales and marketing initiatives to promote our products and services effectively in the local market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience: Proven work experience, ideally within the insurance or insurtech industry, with experience in building and scaling businesses.
• Skills: Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of technology, insurance products, and the circular economy. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Passion: Genuine passion for driving impact, sustainability, and innovation in a startup environment. Commitment to community engagement and customer satisfaction.
