Job Description
- We seek an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Executive with a strong background in Engineering marketing.
- The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, a proactive attitude, and a solid understanding of the company’s products, services, and market trends. With the ability to identify business opportunities, build client-stakeholder relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver, and follow up on proposals, quotes, and presentations for potential clients.
- Work with the project management and operation teams to create proposals addressing each client’s needs.
- Research and identify potential clients and new market opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to align strategies with business goal
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build visibility and credibility.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the engineering sector.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress.
- Prepare regular reports for management on business development activities and outcomes.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings or industry events, if required.
- Represents the company in terms of Bidding for contract
- Up-to-date with upcoming exhibitions that the company can future in and showcase their products
- Organize a Brand awareness campaign
- Capable to lead a team with a strategic mindset
Qualifications
- BSc in Business Administration, equivalent in Engineering, or a related field.
- A Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the engineering sector.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of engineering products and services.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong drive for success.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Driving experience is an additional advantage.
- Proximity to Lagos Island is Key.
Benefits and Packages
- N150,000 – N200,000 / month
- Commission on every sale
- HMO available.
