Electrical Technician
Job Locations: Benue, Kogi, Kwara, and Plateau
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects and tasks.
- Assist with the setup and execution of electrical upgrades and installations.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical devices and systems.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrical technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and basic electronics.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a valid electrical technician license or certification(If Available).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
